Bob Heijne (1978) joined FORT in 2013 as a lawyer in the Insolvency Law practice group. Prior to that, he worked for six years at the Rotterdam District Court, most recently on the Insolvency Team, handling bankruptcies and debt management cases. Primarily he was involved with the preparation and settlement of these cases, as well as the monitoring of the progress in dossiers. He also served as a clerk to the court at hearings.
Bob is diplomatic, direct, pragmatic and goal-oriented. While working at the District Court, Bob obtained his Master’s degree in Dutch Law, majoring in Civil Law at Leiden University. His thesis was entitled: “The Insolvency Law ‘Post Mortem’ research: A study of reasonable suspicions of bankruptcy fraud.” Before Bob started his law studies he graduated in International Business at Tilburg University (2003).
