Katinka Verdurmen succeeds Pieter Twaalfhoven as Managing Partner of Fort Advocaten
Katinka Verdurmen has been appointed Managing Partner of Fort Advocaten (“FORT”) as of November 1, 2018. Katinka succeeds Pieter Twaalfhoven who held this position since February 2014. Katinka will carry out the day-to-day management of FORT together with Managing Partner Terry Steffens and Office Director Carolien Bonsma. Pieter will continue as partner within the well-established Real Estate practice of FORT.
Pieter Twaalfhoven: “Over the past years FORT has been successful in strengthening its already solid reputation in Property Law, Franchise Law, Corporate Law, Insolvency Law and Employment Law. We also made an important step in servicing our increasingly international clients by joining act legal, an alliance of independent law firms in 9 European countries operating in the top of their markets. I am happy to pass on the baton to Katinka, who will work on enhancing FORT’s reputation and the quality of our services even further, and demonstrating that FORT is an attractive alternative for the large and/or international law firms within the Dutch market.”
Katinka Verdurmen: “I am very motivated to work with Terry and Carolien in an effort to realise FORT’s ambitions for the future, with a full focus on our clients, together with our great FORT team in Amsterdam and our act legal alliance partners throughout Europe.”
